Sculpture Progress

So far, I am working on compiling all of the pieces of my sculpture. Even though it's taking a bit longer than I would like for it all to come together, I do think that I am making good progress. I found a solid piece of wood to use as my base for the sculpture and am currently making a plaster cast of my hand in silicon. Additionally, I am working on the clay brain that will be in my hand while the plaster sets. This project has been a bit of a struggle so far, and while I don't really enjoy it, I know that it's important to experiment with different types of art. I did think it was fun to try out the silicon mold, even though it didn't go exactly as planned; I believe it will make for an interesting plaster cast. Right now I need to focus on finishing up all of the individual pieces so that I can bring them all together into the sculpture.
