Project #4 Process

I'm pretty happy with the progress I've made on our current in-class project. My goals for this work are to include more figures and to have a better balance of color, both of which I am making conscious efforts to achieve. I am especially happy with how my multiple figures are turning out, as I think the piece still feels balances while having some contrast and variety in how the figures look and are positioned. I've gotten the base colors down for the figures, so next I'll be working on the water, which should provide the contrasting cool colors that I am looking for. I want to try something different with the water this time, adding a darker blue as a kind of shadow under the figures and lane lines, then putting the lighter blue around it all, and finishing with the white reflections on top. I am interested and excited to see how this piece turns out and I think it'll go nicely with the rest of my work.
