2nd Semester Home Project Planning

This past week I have started planning out possible options for my 2nd semester home project, and at the moment I'm a bit torn on what I want to do. I have more ideas that involve continuing my paintings on records, but I am also considering changing this process, either by doing a drawing or collage, or painting on a normal surface like a wood panel. I think it could be interesting to switch up the media, especially when looking into doing something like collaging; I had the thought to incorporate my own drawings along with pieces from vinyl sleeves to make the work, but I'm not really sure what I would draw or what the theme it could be. When it comes to painting on a wood panel, I'm considering painting something very different, like a scene from a picture I have with friends from earlier this year. I could also see myself working on a wood panel and doing just words, trying to really exaggerate the unique text that I usually use in my work. As of now, this project is still very much in the brainstorming phase, but I'm excited to see where I go with it.
